Hi everyone! I am so sorry to be so lax with my blog. I have just been slammed with work and my blog should be a priority to update everyone with my work but it just hasn't. Instead, I have been emailing my clients with a newsletter upating with new art, new projects, and new information. Instead of typing out all the new project info, I am just including images of my newsletter to view. I think it's a quick update and not as much typing involved lol.
What is NOT included in the newsletter images posted here are these 2 projects.
1- I just finished another episode of "The Walking Dead"!! Images and details to come soon!
2- I just finished storyboarding 2 spots for a new major advertising agency. Very cool spots and I will share as soon as I can.
Please note my new header and it includes all of my contact information.
*PLEASE BUSINESS ONLY CONTACTS*
I'll post more soon I promise!

First blog of 2011!!
Hi all!
Whew! Sorry it's been so long since my last entry. I have been swamped with work since August of 2010. No that it's the new year I'm finally caught up and can add some new art and get back to doing some blogging. I'm very sporatic as usual with entries but hopefully I can do better in the new year :-)
So I've been working on a couple of tv shows including "Vampire Diaries" for CW Network as well as "One Tree Hill" also for CW Network. I've just completed 4 advertising spots for various companies including a cool one for Bellini USA. I also recently did the music video for Will Smith's daughter Willow. It was her first video and single for "Whip my hair" which you can find online or on MTV I'm sure. I also just completed a few HALO video game boards and that was a blast! All of these can be viewed at my portfolio site. You can find the link in the 'links' section of my blog over to the side.
I am posting the HALO boards here as I haven't posted any new art in a while (sorry 'bout that). I will be adding more soon. Again, hopefully the new year will allow me to update on a more consistent basis. :-)
As always, if you would like to inquire about my availability for your projects feel free to email me! You can get the email or my contact number at my portfolio site. Professional inquiries only please.
Happy belated new year to everyone!! I hope it will be a great one for us all!

October 2010 update
Hi everyone!
Hope this finds you well :-). This will be another quick update but I have been busy with advertising storyboards and also pitch art. Things continue to pick up which is a great thing.
Just worked on a job for a New Zealand ad agency which was fun. We even worked out the time differences lol. Just finished bidding on a couple of more projects as well as meeting with animation house for possible work on their projects. It's an FX Network series and I really do enjoy it so I hope for work with the in the future.
Otherwise just keepin' in real in the ATL. I love the summer and warm weather but...yep I'm ready for a little fall in my diet. Plus now that it's October and the Halloween season (my fav behind Christmas) the weather is cooling down an is a welcome change from the sweltering heat and humidity that is the Georgia summers.
But since I haven't posted any new art in a while I thought I'd post a few of my older ones in the spirit of Halloween! These were all done for either comics or video games....Hope you enjoy!
Sho' nuff!

Also, Along with the "Vampire Diaries" episodes, I am working on a toy design for a client in California and also future Sci-Fi project.
Lots of bidding lately and hoping it all works out. All killer projects and fun times.
Also, preparing to work on some new comics stuff in the near future.
Will update with more art asap.

Until next update (soon),
Craig

wow....a new post!
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Life continues to be difficulty as far as health of family members, etc. I've honestly not had the heart to play with blogs. But I do hope to get back into the groove soon.
I've been staying busy with film and advertising work although like everyone else, it's slower than I'd like. But my agent in LA just called about a new film gig so that's a positive and I did just finish working on a FOX NFL commercial so that was cool. Otherwise I've been busy with other 'non art' stuff.
I will be producing new pieces of art coming up and will post some of those for you all to enjoy as soon as I do them. Until then, let's all hope the economy turns around and jobs come back around to 'somewhat' normal states. I'm posting a couple of older pieces that were sketches produced as commissions and RPG game art years ago. These pieces are pretty much relics and I just have pics. I don't even own the originals anymore but I thought you might like to see them. It's actually fun to see how my work have evolved over the 21 years lol. I was working in a much looser, more 'painterly' style in those days. Maybe I should revisit some of that style and see what comes out of it? I hope you enjoy them, as much as I did producing them :-)
I hope this finds everyone happy, healthy, and well. :-) I'll be talking soon.

New movie released
Hi all,
Things have been a little slow lately, but the first of the year is always a little challenging. I've been doing odd things around Atlanta and trying to keep new year resolutions.
A bit of cool news is the release of the feature film "The way of war" starring Cuba Gooding Jr. I did a lot of storyboards and also some concept illustration for the film. If you have a chance try and get it. It's a really cool movie and I really enjoyed working with Capital City on that one. Thanks guys!
here's the imdb link - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1133995/.
ALSO, I've updated my portfolio/website link. Make sure to use THIS link to check out my work - http://www.filmshotsstudio.com/Portfolio/main.php.
That's it for now but I'll post more soon. Take care everyone!

Newest movie and video game release
Hi all!
First off..."Happy Halloween to everyone!!!! My second fav holiday behind Christmas.
Just a quick update on some new releases I worked on that hopefully you will find pretty fun and cool. With the Halloween season upon us, now is a good time to go check out my newest movie "Sorority Row". It's a pretty fun film. Scary and is doing pretty well at the box office. Here's the link to the official site - http://www.thetapi-ordie.com/.
When you are a pro illustrator, the path to success lies in your ability to be a chameleon and change gears on the fly, so on a more lighthearted humorous note, also just released is Pixar's "Cars Race o' Rama" video game for all video game platforms. Published by THQ and my buddies at Incinerator Studios. Here's the official site - http://www.thq.com/us/game/show/5325/Cars%20Race-O-Rama. It was a really fun project and I always enjoy working with them. Of course the first was "Spongebob Squarepants Nicktoons: in Globs of Doom" game last year.
I have a lot of stuff in the works and will post more as I can (legally :-))
Have fun trick or treating with the kids!!
Craig
